What inspired the Cardok?

CARDOK INVENTOR Alastair Newing had the inspiration for the Cardok while living in Clifton, Bristol.

At the time, Alastair had no secure parking, and his car was vandalised several times. Planning permission would not have been granted for a garage, so Alastair set about devising an alternative way to protect his prized possession.

Having created the Cardok concept to solve his own problem, it was an obvious step to bring the product to market.

Four years later, and Cardok is attracting as much attention from property developers as it is from private individuals, and Alastair now heads up the technical team launching the new hydraulic version of the product.
